2026 Spring cleanup

The 2026 Spring Cleanup is in the books - and it was a bigger success than expected.

Despite the weather, 175 volunteers showed up and got to work. Thirty headed out to the islands, and five boaters braved strong currents to fill a dumpster with collected trash. On land, crews covered extensive areas along the river and tributaries, keeping debris from reaching the waterway.
